When I wrote that Sarah might think Pandora’s Box is a basketball defense, it was because I thought she might have confused it with the box-and-one, which was no doubt employed against her during her days as a Wasilla High point guard.

It’s beyond 1000 to 1 odds that a box-and-one was never used on Palin. It’s completely idiotic.
Disappointing.
Looks like ‘tm’ has a reading comprehension problem.
But, but . . . : there is not ONE main scoring threat arrayed against Team Palin. There are almost too many to count:
–The right column at Palingates lists (and explains) 27 of them
–isn’t there an “SP enemies” list that grows in number almost daily?
–Aren’t the emails going to be made public on May 31?
–Isn’t the McGinniss book coming out soon? and the Dunn book? and the Bailey et al. book?
–How about the NE, which is always churning away in the background?
–Hitchens and Andrew Sullivan are likely to say more.
–And then of course there is the arsenal that Romney (or whosoever chooses to be the GOP frontrunner) has just waiting to splat across the playing field, as needed.
–To say nothing of that one or two or three or more people in Alaska who have a little something to tell us, perhaps to show us, but haven’t been quite ready to do so, so far.

a lot of us in alaska can’t wait! shine lots of light on the dark corners and show everyone just what their agenda is…..more money for the rich and corporations and more taxes for everyone else. that is sort of distilled repub.
I believe Joe is either being overly kind or downright sarcastic.
I do have to say a box and 1 is a beautiful sight to behold (and to be a part of) when it’s done correctly. We also used to do a triangle and 2 and really confuse our opponents. I only wish we were as good on offense as we were on defense.
Wow! I haven’t thought about that in years. Unlike Sarah Palin, I don’t feel the need to constantly relieve and broadcast my high school basketball career.

There is no doubt sarah was as offensive a player as she is now. Gravity, however, long ago replaced the box-and-one to counter her threat to score.
She may have been an offensive player, remember the crying, the scratching, the sucking up to the coach, and the backbiting about other players.
Hardly a team favorite or star. A. she was short. B. she behaved like a spoiled brat.
Todd says she was not a very good player at Basketball. That is her own myth making.
